My name is Bill Mann and I represent Great Southern Yachts. Covering both North
and South Carolina and you might as well say my office is my truck and I will travel anywhere I am
needed up and down the coast or inland lakes. Born and bred in North Carolina residing in Mint Hill, I am
a good old southern boy that was taught to be truthful, courteous, and polite. I shoot straight from the
hip and forthcoming with any and all information I know about the boat you are seeking or selling. As far
as I am concerned there is only one way to do business, build relationships first, be truthful and most of
all try to make it fun. There is no greater feeling than seeing your customer taking possession of their
dream boat. Yes the money feels good in my pocket but knowing you did everything right means the
world to me. I have spent most of my career calling on high level corporate CEO’s, Marketing and
Purchasing officers during my 47 years in the Printing Industry. I started in the Marine Industry in 1999
part time and went full time several years later. Most of my listings are freshwater Cruisers from
surrounding lakes that are generally low hour clean vessels. I have shipped boats as far away as
Australia, BC Canada and Mexico. I enjoy working on yachts to a certain degree as my body prevents my
access to some areas. I try to pass on my knowledge of general maintenance requirements, running
vessels and general use of trim tabs, engine trim to obtain optimum performance and safety tips
whether in saltwater or freshwater. I held my Captains License from 1990- 2006.
